Member Joint Committee on Social and Family Affairs. Came to prominence during campaign to retain services at Monaghan General Hospital and was surprise winner on his electoral debut. Member North Eastern Health Board. Member North Eastern Health Board Partnership Committee. Member County Monaghan Partnership Board. Member SIPTU National Nursing Council.
